Fixed BridgesThese are useful when a few consecutive teeth are missing. A fixed bridge is a dental appliance that consists of abutment teeth fitted with artificial crowns connected to the missing teeth thus forming the bridge. The fixed bridge is made of a metal framework with one or more prosthetic teeth attached to it. The fixed bridge is then cemented to the abutment teeth and cannot be removed. Porcelain can be used for a very natural appearance. |
